This class is tailored for late beginner – intermediate hand letterers who would like a fun challenge to step up their lettering game!

About The Instructor:
Katy Holton is a graphic designer at 5+8 and self-taught letterer. Her interest in lettering started in high school, when she couldn't stop beautifying her student planner and grocery lists. Fast forward 10 years or so, and her interest has now bloomed into freelance and side gigs where she's able to exercise her creative letters on chalkboards, painted signage, and various printed & digital media. She also hosts a casual, monthly hand lettering meetup called Hand Letter Hou (find them on facebook!). Her love of teaching began at TXRX Labs in 2017, where she taught a course called Hand Lettering 101 to beginners. She is now STOKED to be teaching letter lovers & enthusiasts at Noted.
